Yum Yoga & Café Copenhagen
Brand identity design, packaging design and multi media design for an environmentally conscious yoga studio and cafe situated on the canals of Sydhavn in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Background:
Yum makes use of a ‘happy’, nature-inspired colour palette in combination with a fun, friendly, honest, ‘cheeky-millennial’ sort of tone. The logo is elegant, simple and clean clearly reminding their customers to ‘flow with the flow and stay positive at all times’ and that Yum is a place to re-energize - find light in the dark.
All products are ethically sourced and produced, all disposable packaging is made from plant based materials but their priority is to convert consumers from ‘convenience-people’ to ‘conscious-people’ by selling KeepCups, and encouraging them to eat at the cafe instead of generating waste with to-go foods, by teaching clients how to produce organic DIY cleaning solutions for their yoga matts and decanting into re-usable glass bottles, teaching yoga on surfboards in the ocean where Sidsel uses Yoga to impart her knowledge about marine conservation. The yoga mats are made from rubber plants grown in sustainable plantations and produced by workers who earn wages that are controlled by unions and more. .
